Just like each and every one of you, I am fed up with my local corona measures. Our country's policy is to protect our weakest. Which I have been onboard with through-out the first stages of the epidemic. But once you start learning that youth is more depressed than ever before, with suicide rates going up, even among 12 year olds... And when you think through the impact of missed education and socializing on our future generation... The ethics discussion becomes tough.

Finally when you learn that 75 year olds never return to their full self coming out of the ICU (if at all), you feel it is time to revisit that first policy. Because yes, the weakest need protecting, but have we been focusing on the right "weakest"?
